How it works:

Due to the high volume of visitors that a Santa's Grotto attracts we know what it means to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Our photo booths and equipment are tried and tested to handle hundreds of customers a day.

Inside Santa’s Grotto

Each grotto requires a slightly different setup but usually contains the camera with external flash, touch screen PC and receipt printer. A live view is displayed on the screen running the specialist photobooth software to help make sure everyone is in the photo. Once visitors are ready and sat with Santa an Elf simply presses a button on the screen or uses a USB clicker to take the photo. A preview is then displayed on the screen followed by a thank you message and directions to the kiosk. The receipt printer prints a customisable receipt instantly and an Elf hands this to visitors to take to the kiosk where they can purchase their photos.

After photos are taken

A clearly visible kiosk set up with a touch screen PC and photo printer attracts or catches customers on their way out from the grotto. Here, customers present their receipts and staff use the unique number to locate their photos. After displaying a preview on the screen to the customer, staff simply press print or email on the appropriate photos depending on which package the customer has chosen.
